Map the line and the work around it
A slab cut is part of a larger job. The contractor needs the path, approximate depth, work environment, access, and cleanup expectations before the scope is clear.

Mark the cut
Provide the approximate length and layout. Note whether the lines connect, form an opening, or create sections for removal.

Add thickness or reinforcement information only when it is documented. Identify coatings, finished surfaces, or occupied areas that may need protection.
